Ok its Kit- I normally post a weekly update on my family’s forum and e-mail it to some friends but Drew has now given me a precious password so I can post it on his blog..This week ahs just been wonderful! I can not ask for anything more. The house is looking really good. We have siding on half of two sides and all around the back of the house. The contractors cleaned the gutters on Friday in the rain so they look brand new! Drew was in Anaheim Wednesday through Saturday and since I have a client due on the first we through it would be great to have my mom out and we were so lucky she was able to be here all week. We spent most of her visit at home just cleaning and playing with Bryson but it was nice and relaxing for me to be able to sit for a minute or not have to do all the dishes and I think my laundry basket was actually empty at some point this week. As we were out and about on Friday I ran into Restoration Hardware (for those of you who don’t know, Restoration Hardware started in Eureka!) and I found the perfect address numbers for our house. I have been searching for them for years, I have looked there but I guess I never saw those ones or thought they would cost to much or something, anyway they are sitting in the house ready for our contractor on Monday, but I bet they wont be up for a few more weeks since we still need siding on the font and paint on the whole house.Bryson has been the joy you think of when you think of a two year old, teething on a really long plane ride! He has recently become the destroyer! In the past three days he has torn chunks out of his foam fort, ripped up a board book, and just now he colored a nice picture with permanent marker on the bamboo floor! Oh the joy! I am happy to report that he has picked up a few more signs including book, bath, help, bye and please. I have seen him do them all a few times but it is not as reliable as more, eat and Trixie.Although he is more and more like a wild boy everyday Drew and I both feel so thankful to have Bryson in our lives and really feel like we are just getting to know him as he can communicate more and more.Well we are off to watch a late NASCAR Race and hope the gutters on the house make it through the rest of this storm (two of them are already off and in the back yard)Â

A few months back I went to trim the bushes in front of the house. When I leaned on the house my hand went through the siding. So Kit and I decided we should have the siding redone. Work started on Monday and things are coming along. We have found termites and some wood rot, but those are getting fixed too. We have pictures up if you want to see the house in the before and during constructions phases.

Bryson hit the 15 month mark today. The past month has been Brysons most exciting. We went on a 15 day vacation down to the southeast part of the US. Before we left, I was very nervous about traveling with Bryson. I wasn’t sure how we would do on the plane. He has been on plane flights before, but he can walk now and gets antsy and squirmy. However both Bryson, Kit and I survived over 48 hours of traveling (over 30 hours in the Rent-a-car). He did great on the airplane, however the layovers were the worst! Airports are not baby proof.
During the vacation we started off in Mississippi for a few days at Kits college friends house and the drove to Orlando to spend the rest of the holiday with Kits family. After we made it back home, we were able to spend a few days with my dad.
Today we drove to Crescent City to go to Home Depot. (I had a coupon!). We took some pictures today on our drive up to Crescent City. Check them out.
Pictures of the last 2 months are coming. We had a computer problem right before we left for our vacation and are awaiting a part to fix it. It just happens to be the computer we keep the pictures on.

Bryson has survived 16 hours of travel! We arrived in New Orleans on Tuesday morning (after 3 plane flights and a couple of layovers). We then drove to Hattiesburg, Mississippi to stay with some of Kit’s old classmates. For those who don’t know, Kit got her Masters degree at The University of Southern Mississippi.  We are having great fun and plan to do the touristy thing and go to the French Quarter in New Orleans. In a few days we are off to Orlando to be with family during the holidays.  We will post pictures as soon as we get a chance. You might be asking, so what has Bryson done this past month? After having his second birthday party at his Aunt Emily’s, we decided to travel back down to Sacramento to celebrate Thanksgiving with his cousins. We even had a full day of shopping the day after Thanksgiving. Bryson’s walking is turning into running and he is starting climb. I figure we are in for it. It’s getting hard to keep up with him! We went to see the lighted truck parade with his friends Geo and Rocco. I’m working on getting more pictures on the website soon, but it will have to wait until we are back at home.  His tooth count has gone to a big 9.  Sorry for the late post this month!Â

Tooth Count: STILL 8
This month Bryson got to have two birthday parties. The first was at home with a bunch of his friends. Pictures from that party can be seen in last months photos. The second party was a shared birthday party with his cousin Ryan. Everyone dressed as pirates and had a great time. Bryson had some big milestones this month. When you take a peek at the photos, you will notice he got a haircut. He pee’d in the potty (a complete fluke, but he did it) And as you can see from the video below, Bryson took his first unassisted steps! If you didn’t count already, you would see he took 22 steps on his own. There is a downside to all this walking, we had two fat lips. Mommy doesn’t handle the blood very well, but she better get used to it, he is a boy! All in all, it was a pretty busy month, then we got the call this morning. Bryson has a new cousin!!!! Exactly 13 months after Bryson was born and even on the 13th, baby Attila is here. Both Aunt Jenny and baby Attila are doing great. Check out this months photos!
