Okay, now I’m getting all teary-eyed! Seriously! That is the cutest video. He’s quite the dancer–even in a diaper! They should make that music into an exercise tape.
The reason I am getting teary-eyed is that you guys are such great parents! I am reading all of these entries and realizing how much you do with Bryson and for him. It so saddens me to see children who are not so well taken care of and loved. However, I do want to say one thing. When you get older and your children are grown you look back and wish you had done things differently or wish that you had spent more time with them or that you had been more patient (is this what happens when you turn 60?).
I look at how you are raising Bryson and am so impressed! I always tell young parents to spend the time, be more patient, realize how wonderful it really us to have this wonderful person in your lives. When we are young sometimes we are so busy with making a living and all of that “adult” stuff that we forget really the beauty of raising children and the awesome responsibility (I guess that’s why people sometimes make better grandparents than parents).
So, kudos to you both–you will NEVER regret the time spent with your child because someday they grow up and leave and you never have that opportunity again. And, believe me, the years do fly by. Jobs, money, all that superficial stuff are nothing compared to this wonderful gift you have been given.
I’ve always admired the two of you and your relationship but my love and respect for you have grown seeing how wonderful you are with Bryson. Amazing!
